Jneiro Jarel - Timeless vol.1
Jneiro Jarel's release Timeless Vol.1 is a collection of exclusive (1997-2001) is a prime example. It's really hard to describe Jneiro's sound because he is always changing his scope but DAMN if it's not on point. The only thing that comes to mind is when you fell in love with A Tribe Called Quest's "Low End Theory" and new this was part of something big. Over a decade later you can still recite every word. This is what Jneiro's music feels like to me. Very futuristic but still has that boom bap to it. ENJOY!!
I can't wait until his other alum three piece puzzle comes in at hmv!!(soon to come)

Slumdog Millionaire
I went to see the movie the other week..
Fantastic!
I'd read the book a few years ago(based on book called Q&A) and
was very pleased by the adaptation.
Just a great movie, so go out and see it now at select theaters now.
here is a quick synopsis.
The story of Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. With the whole nation watching, he is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid know so much? Desperate to prove his innocence, Jamal tells the story of his life in the slum where he and his brother grew up, of their adventures together on the road, of vicious encounters with local gangs, and of Latika, the girl he loved and lost. Each chapter of his story reveals the key to the answer to one of the game show's questions. Each chapter of Jamal's increasingly layered story reveals where he learned the answers to the show's seemingly impossible quizzes. But one question remains a mystery: what is this young man with no apparent desire for riches really doing on the game show? When the new day dawns and Jamal returns to answer the final question, the Inspector and sixty million viewers are about to find out. At the heart of its storytelling lies the question of how anyone comes to know the things they know about life and love.

Another funky album from the PUTS!

I love every flying lotus put's his hands on
but I'll admit it took me some time to truly get in to this
with that said Im loving this album
the production on this cd is just some other shit
how he put's his shit together is mind boggling.

If Boards Of Canada went into sound library this would be the outcome
great album
noting like the daily ish.
13.Menahan Street Band - Make The Road By Walking
An amazingly funky album!

loving this one.
